Snoring is a problem for millions of people and there are many ways to address this issue. Various stop snoring exercises are simple to use and may save the snorer time and money in devices and medical treatment. If you find that snoring is a problem for you, you may wish to try a few of these exercises, yourself.

A stop snoring exercise that fortifies your facial muscles can be done by simply pushing a spoon against your tongue. With this exercise, your muscles are fortified by using your tongue to “defeat” the pressing of the spoon and then, alternately, “defeating” your tongue with the spoon. Strengthening the facial muscles can sometimes help eliminate snoring without additional stop snoring aids.

Another stop snoring exercise is one that simulates the action of chewing gum. In this exercise, you will pretend to chew some gum while simultaneously making a humming sound in your throat. This reduces tension in the jaw and throat muscles and should be maintained for a period of approximately ten seconds. This is considered among the very best of throat exercises for snoring.

The next simple stop snoring exercise will have you pretending that you are at the photographer’s and it’s time to snap a photo. Just say “Cheese” with a big, wide grin and repeat this five times. You won’t get a photo, but you just may stop snoring!

A rather interesting stop snoring exercise is to pretend that you’re giving your loved one a big kiss for putting up with your nightly snoring. Pucker up and pretend to give a big kiss and hold that pose for at least five seconds. Relax and then repeat for another four big kisses.

The next stop snoring exercise involves imagining that you have a big, tall glass of your favorite drink in your hand. Just purse your lips and take an imaginary sip from your “straw”. Sip as hard as you can for five seconds and repeat for another five times.

Another stop snoring exercise is a tongue exercise that requires you to stretch out your tongue as far as you can in a straight line and hold for five seconds. Then stretch out your tongue, again – but to the left, this time. Then stretch to the right. Next, try to touch your nose with your tongue, then your chin.

There are many other stop snoring exercises besides the ones mentioned here. However, these exercises will give you indication as to whether a simple exercise program for your facial, throat and tongue muscles can help you stop snoring before you decide to check out your other stop snoring options.
